Question (9/28/2012) : What is the BIGGEST word you've seen used in a book lately - that made you stop and look it up? Might as well leave the definition and the book too.
This one is easy! Because I so recently complained about the vocabulary in a review. Sorry, Jay Clark, Jay Baker just didn't talk like a normal teen. Somnambulant? While Google Chrome is trying to tell me it's not even a word, according to Webster, it means:
I would appreciate a follow, IF you think my blog covering books and other ideas for Babies to Young Adults will appeal to you and/or help you in some way. I DO NOT want you to follow me just because you feel like you have to because I'm participating in the Hop, as I cannot promise the same to you. For instance, if your blogging specialty is erotic novels or adult books, I have nothing against you or your site, it's just not my cup of tea.
Have a great weekend!
- Walking or having the habit of walking while asleep
- Resembling or having the characteristics of a sleepwalker
Seriously? Just say something about sleepwalking and be done with it!

I get annoyed when writers use words the characters obviously wouldn't use if they were real people!

Here's my Follow Friday post
That is a ridiculously large word! I hate it when books do that.
ReplyDeleteMy follow friday! Please visit!
That is a stupid word, I was always that kid in school using ridiculously big words, and I'd never use that one! Was that author ever a teenager? Anyway, I'm following your blog now, because I really like it. Feel free to stop by my blog, I think you'd like it, I'm not strictly younger audiences like you, I read a lot of books for adults, not adult books if you catch my drift. I am not a fan or adult book blogs either!
